I  have extensive experience in a wide range of therapies including those listed below. During our first consultation we will discuss which therapy is most suited to your needs and I can explain in more detail what each approach entails.

Therapies

PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation)

What does "Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation" mean?

Proprioceptive: Refers to the perception of body position and movement (deep sensitivity).

Neuromuscular: Refers to the interaction between nerves and muscles.

Facilitation: Means something like "facilitating" or "promoting".

PNF uses targeted stimuli to promote the interaction between nerves and muscles and thus improve movements.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy in which dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system — that is, joints, muscles, and nerves — are treated with targeted manual techniques.

The primary goal is to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore normal function.

Fascial Manipulation

Fascia treatment (Fascial Manipulation) works through mechanical stimulation — that is, targeted pressure, tension, stretching, or movement — on the connective tissue to release adhesions and restore mobility.

The therapy stimulates the fascial tissue, which, among other things, improves blood circulation and stimulates lymphatic flow.

The Dorn Method

Dorn therapy (or Dorn Method) is a gentle manual therapy form in physiotherapy in which displaced vertebrae or joints are corrected with targeted hand movements – without sudden movements.

Misaligned vertebrae can irritate nerves, which in turn can cause pain or dysfunction in other areas of the body (e.g. organs, muscles, joints).

The gentle repositioning is intended to restore the natural order.

Physio Coaching

Your path to greater body awareness and self-efficacy.

Physio Coaching combines physiotherapeutic expertise with individualized consultation and targeted coaching. The focus is not only on complaints or diagnoses, but above all on you as a person with your goals, resources, and daily life.

Our goal in Physio Coaching is to support you in taking responsibility for your health – with competent support, tailored exercises, and a clear plan.

Trigger Point Therapy

Many muscular pains and restricted mobility arise from so-called myofascial trigger points – hardened, tender areas in the muscles that often radiate to other parts of the body. A typical example: neck pain that extends to the head and causes tension headaches.

What are trigger points?

Trigger points are localized muscle hardenings that can occur due to overuse, poor posture, or stress. They are often palpable and react painfully to pressure. These points can not only cause local pain but can also radiate to distant areas – this is called referred pain.

Sports Rehabilitation

Sports rehabilitation is a specialized area of physical therapy that focuses on restoring movement function and athletic performance after injuries, surgeries, or overuse injuries.

We combine medical expertise with sports science expertise to help you step by step return to your previous fitness – or even beyond.

Postoperative Rehabilitation

Postoperative Rehabilitation – get back on the move safely!

After surgery, the body is weakened – muscles deteriorate, movement is restricted, and pain can make everyday life difficult.

During postoperative rehabilitation, we accompany you step by step back to an active, independent everyday life.

Whether it's joint surgery, disc surgery, cruciate ligament surgery, or other surgical procedures – with a targeted rehabilitation program, we support your recovery and help you regain your mobility, strength and stability in the long term.

Gait Training

Gait training is targeted training in which correct, safe, and economical walking is practiced – i.e., walking is relearned, improved, or stabilized.

It is often used in physical therapy, e.g. after surgery (e.g., hip or knee surgery), neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, Parkinson's disease), injuries (e.g., fractures, torn ligaments), prolonged bed rest or balance problems

Breathing Training

Respiratory therapy (Breathing Training) is an important component of physiotherapy, aiming to improve breathing, relieve shortness of breath, and strengthen lung function.

It is helpful for both acute and chronic respiratory diseases – for example, asthma, COPD, long-term COVID, cystic fibrosis, or after surgery.

The goals of respiratory therapy are to improve lung ventilation, promote secretion transport (facilitate coughing), and strengthen the respiratory muscles.

Pelvic Floor Training

Pelvic floor training is targeted training for the pelvic floor muscles – a muscle plate in the lower pelvis that supports and stabilizes the organs in the abdominal cavity like a hammock or bowl.

The pelvic floor is important for continence (i.e., bladder and bowel sphincters), core stability, and sexual function.

The goal is to become aware of the pelvic floor, specifically tense it, and then relax it in a controlled manner. This often also involves training breathing, the deep abdominal muscles (transversus abdominis), and the lower back—creating a whole-body awareness.

Dance Therapy (for neurological diseases)

Dance combines movement with music and emotion – this activates different areas of the brain and promotes new connections (neuroplasticity).

Studies show, especially in Parkinson's patients, that rhythmic movement to music significantly improves gait and mobility.

Who is dance therapy suitable for?

Our dance therapy is aimed at people with Parkinson's disease, MS, post-stroke, and other neurological impairments.
